Dr. Matt Bateman
PhD in Philosophy, UPenn
Matt Bateman earned his PhD in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania and helped launch Guidepost Montessori. He's trained hundreds of Montessori guides and leads Montessorium's hybrid curriculum—blending hands-on Montessori with 2 Hour Learning. Matt lives in Austin with his wife and two Montessori-raised kids.

Psychology Graduate, Stanford
MacKenzie Price, a Stanford-trained psychologist, created 2 Hour Learning after her daughters said school felt boring. Her model now powers Alpha, GT, Sports Academy, and Montessorium—where kids master core academics quickly and spend the rest of the day growing into confident, purpose-driven learners.
Dr. Laura Mazer
MD, University of Michigan
Laura Mazer is a former surgeon and nationally recognized educator who now leads program development at Montessorium. She designs hands-on, tech-integrated curricula and trains guides to help children become focused, independent learners—ready for both academic mastery and real-world success.
