Elementary children are driven towards independence, gaining the skills and knowledge they need to think for themselves, understand the world, and take meaningful action in it.
Montessorium makes that possible.

We offer rigorous academics that are completely individualized for a student's ability level, interests, and unique path. Our curriculum consists of the full suite of Montessori hands-on learning materials that support deep conceptual understanding and critical thinking, paired with the AI-powered 2 Hour Learning platform that supports repetitive practice, individual mastery, and unparalleled academic growth.
Students build a solid foundation of mathematics, grammar, science, history, and more through a combination of Montessori lessons, targeted and individualized practice, and hands-on projects and applications. They apply that foundation to areas of their own interest and excitement, going farther and faster than they thought possible.
That's Montessorium.
Montessorium is a bold blend of timeless Montessori and the Timeback learning platform. Now open in Cedar Park.
Montessorium is the creation of a team of innovative educators. We all believe in Montessori in its own right, and as a system for ongoing innovation in education.
Montessorium was born out of the shared belief that an educational framework should be hands-on, relentlessly individualized, and powerfully optimistic about children. We live this framework every day by combining time-honored Montessori pedagogy with innovative classroom technology using the Timeback platform.

Anna Smiley earned her a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Birmingham-Southern College and received her Montessori training through the Montessori Center for Teacher Education in San Diego, California. She is certified by the American Montessori Society to teach children ages 6-12.
Anna lives and breathes Montessori elementary education. She has been leading Montessori elementary classrooms for nine years, and has always worked to incorporate new curricula and technologies into her classrooms.
Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, Anna now calls Austin home. When she is not teaching, Anna enjoys yoga, bird watching and reading.

Hannah received a graduate degree in education from Texas State University and her Montessori elementary training through the Prepared Montessori Institute. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in individualization: in meeting every student where they are individually, in supporting their particular strengths, needs, and interests, and in creating environments and opportunities to reach their full potential.
Hannah is thrilled with Montessorium's unique blend of Montessori methodology and computer-based learning, and beloved by Montessorium students. Originally from Atlanta, she's been in Austin for seven years.

Laura Mazer is a former surgeon and nationally recognized educator who now leads program development at Montessorium. She designs hands-on, tech-integrated curricula and trains guides to help children become focused, independent learners—ready for both academic mastery and real-world success.

MacKenzie Price, a Stanford-trained psychologist, created Timeback after her daughters said school felt boring. Her model now powers Alpha, GT School, Sports Academy, and Montessorium—where kids master core academics quickly and spend the rest of the day growing into confident, purpose-driven learners.

Matt Bateman earned his PhD in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania and helped launch Guidepost Montessori. He's trained hundreds of Montessori guides and supports Montessorium's hybrid curriculum—blending hands-on Montessori with Timeback. Matt lives in Austin with his wife and two Montessori-raised kids, the older of whom attends Montessorium.

"I absolutely love Montessorium. My daughter is thrilled to go to school every day, never wanting to be late and often not wanting to come home. She loves her classmates and her teachers. And she's learning a shocking amount from both Timeback and the Montessori materials."
